I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with Vallis Mental Health, offering individual counseling for adults. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Montevallo in 2013 and obtained my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama in 2015. As a therapist, I work to create a safe environment aimed at facilitating personal growth, connection, and empowerment.

I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy designed to best meet the needs of my patients. I work with patients to identify and maximize their specific strengths in order to help facilitate long-term success. My primary therapeutic modalities include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). 

I have worked in both residential and outpatient treatment programs. My experience involves the treatment of individuals struggling with substance use, eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief. I have a passion for working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, as well as individuals who identify as part of the kink and polyamory communities.
